Florida Dental Insurance, My dental insurance is still not enough
I was able to find a job that not only offer medical insurance but dental as well. I worked the three months before my benefits would kick in and now I have both medical and dental benefits.
This should be making me very happy. In which case I was for a short while. Since I have not been to a dentist in many years do to not having dental insurance going to the dentist was my first stop.
So I pick this dentist that my friend referred me too, and had my free check up, X rays and basic dental cleaning. I had only to pay the $50 deductible that is on my plan since this was my first time using it.
Now here where my happiness ends. I was told that I needed over $5000.00 worth of dental work. Going into all that I need is not necessary and I do believe the dentist about this work needing to be done.
However my dental insurance plan as a yearly max limitation of $1500.00. The dental office had called my company to confirm my coverages. I was told the dental office staffing that I was lucky I did not have any waiting periods.
Well I am not sure how lucky I am when I still have to deal with $3500.00 that my plan will not pay out on if I have all my dental work done. I am feeling so let down thinking I was finally able to do something about my teeth. I do not have $3500.00 to fix my teeth and I am not sure what I can do at this point.
